Ok. Lo admito. Todo habría sido más fácil si hubiera puesto la letra de Going On en el post anterior. Pero no fue así y eso nos llevó, a varios amigos y alumnos, a enfrascarnos en un debate filosófico sobre las intenciones narrativas del video en cuestión. Pero yo no quería que fuera tan fácil su lectura. El debate (no la discusión ciclada y sin sentido sino el debate argumentativo de manera pura y estricta) nos engrandece como especie (o eso creían los griegos). He aquí la letra, que no es el descubrimiento del hilo negro, no es una correlación original y consecuente de palabras pero sí es un himno, casi podría decir que Kantiano -en su principio más puramente antropológico y existencialista-, a la libertad del Otro -donde lo Mismo inicia su diferenciación por las rutas elegidas para recorrer, a fin de cuentas, el mismo camino...el único posible-. Ok. Lo admito. También puede interpretarse de otra forma, completamente Hegeliana, pero a mí me gusta más la idea anterior -que si bien no es ni la genial teoría cuántica de mi principal contrincante argumentativo, ni la hipótesis postmetafísica de otro de los contrincantes, sí es, desde mi punto de vista, mucho más lógica- por razones puramente referenciales.

Lo único en lo que todos estuvimos de acuerdo (éramos cinco pseudofilósofos de pasillo sosteniendo una plática que pudo haber parecido de borrachos para los que nos escucharon) es que el final -DON`T FOLLOW ME- es perturbador. La división construida, de manera visual, por la línea de la puerta vista por su canto, el arrojo a lo desconocido y la decisión final -de ella- de seguir al Otro hacia una abstracción imposible de definir nos describe, a nivel metafórico, el problema de todos los tiempos, de todos los siglos, de todas las historias. Ya saben de qué hablo.
